Safely Strolling the Streets, Famers Markets

Friday night family fun is back with the new, improved, socially distanced Stroll the Streets and Farmers' Market in Downtown Ellicottville. A great way to kick start your weekend and spend quality time with your family, Stroll the Streets runs every Friday through August 28th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Highlights include downtown merchants “taking it to the streets” - offering their wares, free samples and drop-in activities; face and body painting; balloon twisting; entertainment; live music; and of course, the Ellicottville Farmers' Market from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on the front lawn of the 1887 Building, showcasing a variety of WNY growers and producers as well as crafts, baked goods, gluten free products, flowers and so much more.

In light of COVID-19, Stroll the Streets' organizers are making safety a priority for all concerned. For example, face painters and balloon twisters will be following CDC and state level guidelines and entertainment will be limited to a smaller number to allow for social distancing. The Ellicottville Farmers' Market will adopt similar regulations ensuring the health of patrons and vendors including reminding people to wear facemasks at all times, as well as to maintain a distance of six feet between non-household members, use hand sanitizer and stay at home if they are unwell.
