Launch into Green Season Fun When You Visit Ellicottville

Now that winter is officially over, it's time to launch into Green Season fun in Ellicottville! One of the first signs of spring is the opening of Zoar Valley's Whitewater Rafting Season where adventure seekers can take an exciting journey through some of the area's most breath-taking scenery from mid-March through May. And at the beginning of April, Trout Season brings excellent opportunities for Steelhead fishing, followed closely by the start of Golf Season. Currently, golf enthusiasts are playing a modified front nine holes at the Double Black Diamond course at Holiday Valley Mountain Resort.

Two unique parks, Rock City Park with its gigantic rock formations, scenic views and hiking trails and Griffis Sculpture Park which features over 250 giant interactive metal sculptures in a stunning outdoor setting open May 1. Over at Holiday Valley, Sky High Adventure Park's 2019 season starts on May 3, while at the end of May, the resort's three-pool complex opens on weekends.
