Glen Burn Trail to expand with second phase
Media Coverage: Buffalo Business First, by James Fink, December 9, 2015 — With its first phase nearing completion, the Canadian investment team behind the Glen Burn Trail townhouse project in Ellicottville is poised to begin work on the next phase of the upscale residential development.
Jennifer McNally, Hillview Mews L.P. project manager, confirmed construction on Glen Burn Trail's second phase will start this spring.
Hillview Mews invested more than $3 million in Glen Burn Trail's first phase, the construction of nine townhomes, six of which have already been sold. The second phase, with another nine units, also represents a second $3 million, private-sector investment by Hillview Mews.
In all, Hillview Mews, located on E. Washington Street, could see the development of 37 townhouses spread over nine buildings.
“We're finding the market place is very diverse,” McNally said.
In Hillview Mews first phase, buyers came from Canada, Pennsylvania, S. Carolina, Cleveland and Williamsville.
The townhouses, which begin at $250,000, range in size from 1,500-square-feet to 2,000-square-feet.
The project is the first Ellicottville investment for Hillview Mews.
“We will certainly be looking at others,” McNally said.
