Ellicottville: Collaboration and Caution Key to Safely Moving Forward
Throughout the pandemic, Ellicottville's business owners have put safety at the forefront by offering online shopping, curb side pick-up, take-out and local delivery. And now that they have reopened, careful business practices will continue thanks to an initiative introduced by the Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce.
The EVL Pledge is a promise by local merchants that they will follow, enforce, and adhere to health and safety guidelines (including sanitation, mask-wearing, social distancing, etc.) as outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the New York Department of Health and industry-specific governing bodies. Once the owner has made the commitment, they receive a poster to display in their establishment's window informing customers/clients that they have taken the pledge and their business logo is listed on the Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce website Pledge Page.
So, while things are looking a little different this summer, you can feel confident that Ellicottville is moving safely towards its “new normal”.
