Summer fun continues in Ellicottville! August is filled with family-friendly festivals and events including Taste of Ellicottville where you can sample the best offerings from 22 of the village's fantastic restaurants as they set up “Café Style” on the streets surrounded by exciting performers. Also, take in the Cattaraugus County Fair - a family tradition for well over a century; celebrate a day of creativity at Griffis Sculpture Park's Annual Summer Festival and interact with the sculptures, listen to music and indulge in great food; and put on your Hawaiian shirt and dancing shoes for the Family Beach Party at Allegany State Park, a day filled with activities for all ages capped off with fireworks over Red House Lake.

Horse lovers be sure to check out the Creekside Roundup Summer Show Series and the Battle Series Open Horse Show. Enjoy the company of other equine enthusiasts at the Little Valley Riders Club Annual Labor Day Trail Ride – you can either bring your horse or rent one from The Crosspatch.
